ACIC VGU organized an event on building your business plan on the 23rd and 24th of December for Incubatees of ACIC and students. Nidhi Banthia Mehta was the speaker and shared her life experience in the world of entrepreneurship.

EVENT on building your business plan was a huge and a great hit. It was a 2 - day event. The event has been organized Physically. Mrs. Nidhi Banthia Mehta was the speaker. We received 19 responses for the event. Overall, This 2 hours workshop was an interesting and interactive event where everyone asked questions and the speaker shared her life experience in the field of entrepreneurship. She talked about lean model canvas, business plans deck, and many more.

ACIC VGU Foundation hosted an online session on ABC of SDGs with Ms. Medha Priya. The agenda of the meeting is to know more about the 17 SDGs.

The ACIC VGU Foundation hosted a session with Ms. Medha Priya. Everyone in this session understood the significance of the SDGs. The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint for achieving a better and more sustainable future for all. Medha addresses the global challenges we face in the session, such as poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace, and justice.

ACIC VGU hosted a meetup for entrepreneurs & innovators of Jaipur where they discussed their challenges and learning.

As a founder, it’s important to understand how to craft your company’s brand. Creating meaningful connections with the customers and establishing salient brand moments are imperative to think about when launching and growing your business. This meetup helped entrepreneurs of Jaipur equip with the best practices to build their brand and tell their startup’s story effectively.

ACIC VGU partnered with CODE VGU for their International Design Conference. The motive of the event was to bring out new design and Innovation ideas of youth.

The DEBW was a 2nd International creative conclave of Institutions, Educators, Scholars, Professionals, Students and Individuals, hosted by Centre for Design Excellence in association with ACIC VGU.

ACIC VGU planned session on intellectual property rights on 30th of April for it's portfolio startup.

Conducted a highly focussed session on Intellectual Property for start-ups at AIC - VGU Foundation. The session was attended by a number of tech based start-ups, technical students, designers, inventors and digital marketing companies and was aimed at providing practical and relevant knowledge to the audience for handling their Intellectual Property. The session was highly interactive and ended with a lot of IP related questions being raised by the audience and getting an in depth knowledge about IP for start-ups.

ACIC VGU hosted a session on How to be investment-ready and what all legalities required for the first fund raise.

As startups focus shifts to issues of survival and cautious growth, they need to modify their fund-raising strategies. The competition for angel and venture capital has only increased. The downturn has resulted in extended funding decision cycles and a general squeeze on funds. As the narrative shifts back to the fundamentals of building robust and viable ventures, and attention spans on Zoom calls diminish, it becomes even more essential to pique investors interest as early as possible.

ACIC VGU hosted school students of Vivek Techno School on the occassion of Atal Tinkering Lab Community Day on 13th of April.

Shudhanshu & Praveer briefed about ACIC and gave a tour of the facility to the students. Students attended workshops on Basics of charcoal drawing & 3D printing/ Laser cutting, textile design.

ACIC VGU organized interactive mentor hours with Mr. Tushar Suhalka. He guided entrepreneurs on various issues like Marketing, Strategy, Business Operations Scaling-up, etc.

ACIC VGU planned a Microsoft Excel workshop for startup founders, students & young innovators.

Microsoft Excel enables users to identify trends and organize and sort data into meaningful categories. Excel also performs Human Resources functions, such as sorting worked hours and organizing employee profiles and expenses, which help businesses better understand the structure and activities of their workforce.

The ideation workshop was a dedicated session for students who want to come up with new ideas. The main goal of this ideation session was to spark innovation and draw out a sense of creativity. The idea was to bring the participating teams together to openly discuss and share ideas without any judgment.

Ideation is the process where you generate ideas and solutions through sessions such as Sketching, Prototyping, Brainstorming, Brainwriting, Worst Possible Idea, and a wealth of other ideation techniques. Ideation is also the third stage in the Design Thinking process.

ACIC VGU Foundation hosted a panel discussion on "Sone Ki Chidiya Ko Jaagao" at the launch event of the SIDBI Sawavalamban Chair.

In this discussion, there were five panelists: Mr. Ajay Data, Mr. Mahvir Pratap Singh, Mr. Sushil Sharma, Mr. Adityanath Singh, Mr. Onkar Bagaria, and the moderator, Mr. Namit Soni.

A session with Mr. Salam Mohd on the use of Node.js & React.js for Web Development.

ACIC VGU Foundation hosted a session with Mr. Salam Mohd on web development using Node.js and React.js. In this session, Salam discussed various React hooks as well as the use of nodejs. Also, help them understand how nodejs and reactjs can be used in web development.

ACIC VGU Foundation conducted Design thinking workshop for school students.

Design thinking is about listening and understanding what people need. Before students can design a solution, they need to learn about the needs of others and the day-to- day problems that they face. In this activity, students practice observing and listening to the people they are trying to help: their classmates.

A problem-solving workshop is a rapid session that helps you: Understand the root cause of a problem. Quickly generate ideas to solve it. Evaluate the ideas to ensure they're robust. Make a plan to test or implement the solution.

ACIC VGU organized an event on company registration and GST on the 30th of December for Incubatees of ACIC and students. Nitin Lalwani was the speaker and shared Basic Information about accounting and many more terms which helped startups for further growth.

EVENT on company registrations and GST was a huge and a great hit. It was an hour workshop but it was very helpful for all the participants who joined. The event has been organized virtually. ACIC VGU planned a session for students & young innovators on legal side of fund raising

There is a lot of confusion among Startups around Fund Raise. Be it around ways to negotiate with investors or decoding the complex framework of Business Valuation or for that matter understanding the complexities around Term Sheet.

On the occasion of the Navratri, a Dandiya Festival was hosted on October 9th by Seven Heaven Apartments, where ACIC-VGU Foundation organized a Flea Market. This flea market is a type of model that ACIC-VGU Foundation envisages to promote local lifestyle brands dealing in the products like crafts, jewelry, accessories, & more. ACIC-VGU Foundation plans to organize such flea markets more frequently in tenure in order to showcase more such brands and provide them a platform of visibility.

On Saturday, the Foundation invited startups/brands working in the sector of clothing, jewelery, bookmarks, desserts . The event experienced a footfall of 400 to 500 people, who appreciated the startups and the brands present there. Startup/brand founders were also able to generate a good revenue from this flea market and have expressed their interest in more upcoming events.
